Title:Neutrinos in Cosmology
Speaker:Dr.Jan Hamann(The University of Sydney)
Abstract:Even though neutrinos make up only a very small fraction of the energy density of the Universe today, they have a profound impact on its evolution. This allows us to deduce some of their properties from observations of, e.g., the cosmic microwave background (CMB) or the large scale structure.I will review the status of cosmological neutrinos after the release of CMB data from the Planck mission, and give an outlook on what we can expect to learn about them in the near future.
